What is a Wellness Plan?
The traditional way of getting veterinary care is to pay a fee per each visit you make with your pet. As your premier veterinarian in Phoenix, we offer Wellness Plans where you pay a set price for all necessary preventive care services for an entire year as well as discounts on other care. The yearly fee is considerably less than what you would otherwise pay “ala carte”. We also spread the total cost out over 12 months as an added convenience for you.
What’s Included in Our Phoenix Pet Wellness Plans?
Services vary, depending on which plan you choose, but there are some things common to all, including:
- Free annual wellness exams with your veterinarian
- Recommended pet vaccinations for dogs and cats
- Routine diagnostic screenings
- Low co-pay on other health exams
- 12 affordable payments
- Discounts on other services
- Free nail trims
- 24/7 online access to your pet’s health records
We have 2 age brackets: Kittens and Puppies, Adult Pets, and Senior Pets, and within those brackets, you can choose from several available plans. If something arises where you need to change plans, we will gladly accommodate your need.
Wellness Plans for Kittens and Puppies
Mother’s milk protects puppies and kittens from disease until they are about 6 weeks old, and that’s where you come in. Baby pets need help to boost their immature immune systems and that’s when all-important pet vaccinations take over. Our puppy and kitten plans include examinations, vaccines, lab work, and many other recommended tests for their first year. One of the plans in this bracket also includes spaying and/or neutering.
Wellness Plans for Adult Dogs and Cats
Just as our physical and health needs change as we grow older, so do our pets. Nutritional needs, exercise requirements, and medical circumstances require care from a different point of view. Our mid-life plans focus on your pet’s vital organ function, to detect problems before they become life-threatening. An upgrade is available that adds in services like routine dental cleanings, dental radiographs, and more extensive blood work. These plans are designed for pets older than 7 months.
Wellness Plans for Seniors
We want to make sure they age with happiness and comfort. This package includes:
- Bi-annual physical exams including oral health and mobility assessments
- Yearly intestinal parasite testing
- Uniquely designed vaccination plan
- Parasite preventive
- Senior laboratory assessment
